And we are full!

I wanted to mention that all of the tables are now booked for Handmade Culture. You will have just under 20 different local vendors to browse this Saturday. Come down to the library from 10-2 and check out what people in your community have been up to!
All part of Culture Days 2012.

2012 Handmade Culture Show and Sale

Great news! There will be a 2012 Handmade Culture Show and Sale at the Stratford Public Library! The aim of this event is to showcase your talent, the talent of local artists and crafters who normally do not get to participate in art and craft shows due to restrictions, costs, etc.  We hope to create a fantastic opportunity for you to display your talent within your own town in a friendly, community setting while supporting your library.

The show and sale will be held in the Library Auditorium on Saturday September 29, 2012.  The auditorium is a large, bright space ideal for displays. You will have a choice of using an eight foot long table or half of that amount, sharing an eight foot table with another exhibitor.

Your table fee will support the Friends of the Stratford Public Library. We will be actively promoting this event: online (library website, kijiji, Facebook, twitter), in the library itself and around town.  We do also encourage you to promote the show. Posters will be available for distribution, please ask! Let’s make this event a success.

Please take a look at the Artists Registration and Agreement and consider joining us.  We would love for you to take part and show Stratford your “handmade” talent.  If you have any questions, please contact Krista Robinson at 519-271-0220 ext. 31 or krobinson@pcin.on.ca.

This event is registered as part of Culture Days weekend – 3 days full of arts and culture across Canada. For more information on Culture Days, visit their website at www.culturedays.ca
